 CONSULTANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 

The Mongolia Country Office of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), an international development agency, is inviting prospective individuals to provide consultancy services.

Consultancy: Written translations from English to Mongolian and vice versa to UNFPA Gender equality, women’s empowerment programme during 2024.
Duration: March – December 2024.
Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Purpose of the consultancy:

 

To provide written translations from English to Mongolian and vice versa to UNFPA Gender programme during 2024.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation, gender studies, social science, social work, and public health.
  • At least 5 years of experience of written translation.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of gender theory, concepts, and terminologies.
  • Fluency in both English and Mongolian, including strong written and spoken comprehension, as well as the ability to convey nuances and subtleties in both languages.

  2. Proven track record of working on gender related documents.
