UNFPA Mongolia invites One Stop Service Centers (OSSC) and shelters for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and domestic violence (DV) in Mongolia to submit their proposals to be selected to receive the technical and financial support from the Combating Gender-Based Violence in Mongolia Project (CGBV Project) – Phase 2 through relevant Implementing Partners.

To contribute to the reduction of GBV/DV prevalence in Mongolia by strengthening national capacity for prevention and response, six (6) One Stop Service Centers (OSSCs) and Shelters will be selected to receive financial and technical support during 2021-2023 to upgrade and expand their services and facilities with a focus on improving survivor reintegration and accessibility. In addition to this, the communities where the OSSCs and shelters are located will also eventually receive additional support for the piloting of a comprehensive behavior change communication (BCC) model with the support of UNFPA’s technical staff and consultants.

Requirements

For the applications, following eligibility requirements must be fulfilled. Hereto:

  • To be OSSC or Shelter that provide services primarily to survivors of domestic violence (adults and children of all genders) in Mongolia
  • To have operated for at least 6 months continuously at the time of application
  • To have legal status and officially registered with relevant authorities
  • To be managed by the local government or an NGO
  • To have sufficient number of staff with relevant education and professional background to implement the proposed Project
  • Does not act as an intermediary body in the Project, but as the direct implementer in the planning, management, implementation, and monitoring of the proposed Project
  • OSSCs and shelters that are currently receiving or have previously received funding from other donors for their establishment, operations and human resources may apply.

How to Apply

Interested parties are encouraged to apply by submitting the following documents in Mongolian or English language via email to procurement@unfpa.org.mn before 25 May 2021, 6:00 pm.

  • Accomplished project proposal application form (See attached template)
  • Detailed budget for grant amount requested
  • Copy of valid legal registration in the country or equivalent
  • Provisional timeline for the implementation of the proposed project, which can span from 15 June 2021 to 31 May 2023 (2 years)
  • Letter of support from the Governor of the province or district

Applications that fail to submit all documents by the deadline will be disqualified.
