The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international civil society-led campaign that runs from November 25th (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10th (Human Rights Day). This campaign highlights the pervasive nature of violence against women and girls, emphasizing it as the most widespread violation of human rights worldwide.
The 2024 UNiTE Digital Campaign focuses on gender-related killings of women and girls, highlighting the urgent need to address the continuum of violence and implement proven solutions. The campaign aims to raise awareness, mobilize action, and hold perpetrators accountable. The campaign aligns with the broader framework of action to mark the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. By participating in the 16 Days of Activism and supporting the UNiTE campaign, you can contribute to the global effort to end violence against women and girls. The objective of this project is to produce high-quality video content that effectively raises awareness about “Gender Based Violence” in Mongolia and promotes positive social change. The video content will be used as part of the 16 Days Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence.
