The Mongolia Country Office of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), an international development agency, is inviting prospective individuals to provide consultancy services.

Consultancy:

Adaptation of Amaze videos in Mongolia (To do the script proofreading, content revision, editing the selected AMAZE videos and train teachers and parents on the usage of videos)

Purpose of the consultancy:

The purpose of the adaptation of video-based sexual health education resource of AMAZE is to provide an honest, accurate, and age-appropriate quality contents on comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) for youth ages 10-14 in Mongolia. Through short, professionally created animated videos, AMAZE seeks to empower young people to attain the information that is often overly censored in their schools.

AMAZE harnesses the power of digital media to provide young adolescents around the globe with medically accurate, age-appropriate, affirming, and honest sex education they can access directly online—regardless of where they live or what school they attend.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Post-graduate degree in education, social sciences or related fields;
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the education sector;
  • At least 5 years of experience working on life skills, and life skills-based health education, including comprehensive sexuality education;
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking);
  • High-level of understanding of life skills education, including life skills-based health education and comprehensive sexuality education, sexual and reproductive health;
  • Knowledgeable about issues of human rights, maternal, sexual and reproductive health, gender in general.
