Purpose of the consultancy:
UNFPA Mongolia Country office will hire interpreters as roster for Sign language interpretation service.
The interpreters are required to provide its interpretation service in UNFPA’s specific area as follow:
- Gender; Gender-Based Violence; Domestic violence
- Health; HIV/AIDS/STI; COVID-19; Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights; Maternal health
- Population development; youth development and education; family planning; adolescent health; early childhood development
- Legal documents related to the areas above
Required qualifications:
Required education and qualifications:
- Secondary Education is the requirement. Bachelor’s Degree in Gender, Medicine or Social science would be desirable, but it is not a mandatory requirement.
- To have at least five (5) years of proven experience in providing sign language interpretation service
- Mongolian language fluency is the requirement, and English language fluency would be an advantage.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
